I have read all the Jon Pike books and Ronin and Ghost fleet kick it up a notch. Along the way Jon finds the colonies and ends up joining them in their fight for survival against corporate Planets where there is no Democracy. Jon keeps picking up friends of a type he only hated before. He aligns with his old adversaries the Channissar and finally comes to terms that they were forced to do what they did not want and that they want their freedom from the Juttari. Jon's AI from the Hermes helps free them from their en-slavers and they join forces with him. They are just 1 ship but then they run into 4 more Juttari ships. Jon learns the truth behind the Diakins and now knows his destiny lays ahead and he will become a key in this Galactic war about to take place. I want to say more but I don't want to be a spoiler. I believe that you will enjoy this book and look forward to the next book due out in spring. I can't wait. The story line is one of the better i have read. It started out a little slow and then all of sudden has ramped up. Great read.

Another in the series of space sagas. Great read. I am going to read the entire series.
FIVE stars this time. A much more polished story. The editing has been improved a great amount. I recommend this book to all. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
This is an engrossing series - one of the best I've read in some time. The characters are very real and interesting and I really care about what happens to them.
I read all 4 current books in order over the last week. They are excellent space operas. The main characters are multi-dimensional. John Pike especially so. Great space battles interesting aliens. Can't wait for the next book.
This is the strongest book in the series to date. There is a bit too much of too many viewpoints early in the novel, but once half way through we get to stay in the action. This loses out on a five due to that early lack of focus, and a disturbing amount of torture by the good guys. But the universe building and action is coming along nicely. Less battle scenes would also work I believe.
Mr Hudson weaves a wonderful tale that complement's Pike Chronicles 1-3 . I tried not to read it to fast but it was to good. You have several aliens some bad humans . His writing is very descriptive you can almost see the story as you read.
Great read enjoying the whole series so far, yes has a few little faults that I thought could've been thought through a bit better. But I like where the story as a whole is heading. Looking forward to the next book hopefully it comes out a bit earlier the stated
