I wanted to know what all the hype was about, but from a Christian perspective! This book was outstanding! If you want to know about the Secret, but want to stay true to your Christian beliefs, this is a must read! Excellent book!
i absolutely loved this book- i was stuck on is it law of attraction or is it me praying and this book helped me see everything in a bigger picture! <3
I knew after watching the Secret there had to be a Christian prespective. What a horror to think that we are so self sufficiant and powerful that we have no need for accountability. I didn't know whether I would like this book but indeed I loved it. I hope that ever Secret server reads this to put the law into balance.
For those who read The Secret, it might me important not to remove God from the equation.
I see what Gungor was trying to do, but I feel like he didn't understand The Secret; the book he's analyzing and critiquing. Understanding the base book is kind of important.

If you feel like you've got a good grasp on what the Secret says, you probably don't need this book.
But if you're interested in it, it wouldn't hurt to give it a read-through.
This was a great read, but it spent too much time trying to discount Rhonda Byrne's "The Secret" movie and book, and less time telling the reader why its really God behind the Law of Attraction.
The author of this book was left out of the movie by the creators of it, and seems to have a personal grudge, even though he repeats that he does not.
If you are a believer in God, you will totally "get" this book, as I did, and you might even enjoy it.
Really think this book is great for any Christian who also likes practicing The Law Of Attraction. Author does a great job in presenting non-biased and researched info on how you can incorporate both into your life & gives advice to lighten up a little. We don't need to be so judgmental about things- God is loving and he created it all.
Theres more to the Secret does what it implyes. In that it compares the Bible to the Secret. In my own personal thoughts the Secret is and can be applied to any religion. It teaches you to be happy with what you have, be contient. It is ok to want more, want better but be happy and gracious about your life. Have gratitude. The Bible also says to be contient with what you have and your desires or wishes will come to you. In this book I feel the Secret is being torn down. In comparing the two you are told the Secret is not correct. How can anything that teaches you to do what the Bible says be wrong. The Secret is to be happy, contient, open your inner eyes see the beauty around you. Is this not what the Bible teaches? Being a pastor/author of this book he is taught to see things in a certain light according to his religion. Not that this is wrong he can only see as he was taught. I do belive in the Secret and what it can do for you. Should you read this book? My thoughts say no. It only tends to confuse.
