I downloaded this free book due to all the reviews being 5 star, even though there were only 7 reviews. I was excited at the idea of reading a YA novel as good as this one was reported to be. It just wasn't there, at least not for me. I tried, I really did. I read other books in between my attempts at finishing this one. Every time I picked this up, it was the same. An incredibly self absorbed and hard to like girl is so focused on herself and which beau she wants that she sees and thinks of little else. I got half way through and gave up. I read the last chapter before putting it down for good and found the end predictable and, frankly, boring -- not to mention the fact that nothing was mentioned in the last chapter that could be called "new" information or events since the middle of the book. The characters are one dimensional and flat. The angel offers no special wisdom and lacks any charisma or special wisdom whatsoever. Frankly, I think it might have made a fabulous novella or short story -- condensing the "action", making the characters more intense thereby keeping a reader interested -- as opposed to page after page of reading the petty thoughts of a one dimensional girl. One incident that made no sense -- she gets furious at her date and (like me) even she had no idea why. Anyway, for those interested, it's pretty much "PG" and very little violence (keeping in mind I read only halfway through and the last chapter). It is possible that I may read something else in the future by this author because she is not without talent.

I LOVE this Book! If you believe in Angles or True Love give this book a read. It is defiantly worth the small price. I would recommend this book to all. Read the Preface and see how you get sucked in and can't download this fast enough.
I could easily put myself into Emma,s place, trying to figure out who's the right boy. You,ll love the characters and their playfulness through the whole story. Can' t wait for book 2.
The storyline is a bit predictable. Characters are never fully developed. Not a bad read, but not on my recommend list.
I felt this book was really well thought out I recommend this book to my best friend and as she's reading it she keeps pointing out all of the parts that I loved and I was glad I got to share it with my best friend
This is a very interesting story and take on the existence of eternity. The realm of angels and their order. This is a great love story! Clean
I really liked this story.Yes other authors have done books on Angels and falling in love with Angels.But this one has a new twist to it.I loved the characters in the story also.

Emma and Destry were the perfect couple in my eye all along.And I couldn't help but feel sorry for Destry when he tried so hard to get Emma to like him.By the time she realized she did love him it was almost to late.I couldn't put this one down.
First of all, there were a few things that a good editor could fix. Also, she kept using 'squote' for 'squeezed.' Is that even a real word? I Googled it {I'm aware that Google isn't a verb.} but couldn't come up with anything. It annoyed me.
So, I wasn't sure what to expect from this book but I wasn't too disappointed. I fell for Destry immediately but it was harder to love Emma. She was a little too whiney. I couldn't really see the problem that she kept insisting was there. I did love the ending as I thought she made the right choice but other than that, it fell a little empty.
I will not be continuing my journey with this series.
